There was that laugh again..deeper and so much se…No! Ew! No! He was her teacher! She wasn’t that kind of girl! Even if he was hands…no! Just! NO! Rachel tried to push all the evil thoughts coming in as she moved her attention back to her teacher. “Well…I mean she has a higher range and…pop is far different than showtunes…” Still she couldn’t help the faint blush at his compliment.
She really was throwing herself in the deep end, wasn’t she…
She blinked slowly. The only classic rock she knew really was the Beatles, since her dads both had crushes on different members of the group at different times in their lives. “REO Speedwagon?” She furrowed her brow and frowned. “Are you trying to play a trick on me, Mr. Hudson…I know it’s a car…” She scoffed for a moment and sighed shaking her head until one simple world lit up her world. Journey, it was the only non-Beatles rock album her dads owned…and she fell in love with it at a young age.
Her eyes slowly looked up to his as her lips curved into a smile. “Just a small town girl…living in a lonely world. She took the midnight train going anywhere…”, she sang in a low voice, her eyes practically twinkling.
“I think that sounds amazing!” She always did love her solos but a prime solo? Yes so much sweeter…
Smirking when she thought one of his favourite bands was a car, he was about to correct her when she started singing there and then, and everything around them faded out until all he could see was Rachel.
Leaning forward in his seat to listen, he didn’t notice that his leg was pressed up against hers under the table, too preoccupied by her voice.
"It really sounds amazing," he breathed out, licking his lips. "You know the rest, then? Can you… Can you sing for me?"
Just thinking about her singing one of his favourite songs was enough to make him half-hard in the middle of the Lima Bean, and all he could focus on was those damn lips.
Wow, he was definitely turning into a pervert.
